- I am not "the" Betty Rubble but certainly I can relate. Having wanted nothing more in life than to be a mother imagine my shock when we discovered that a positive on a pregnancy test doesn't always equal a baby to bring home! However sometimes a phone call asking "would you be interested in adopting a baby?" does, and on September 13, 2011 we welcomed our son into the world and brought him home on the 14th.
