We Got It...

When we moved into our current situation we did so after moving from a housethe money pit to a very large but very noisy apartment. Despite the noise, terrible location, and generic floor plan we weren't keen on moving after only 12 months so we landed here after deciding that we had to fall in love in order to move in...and fall we did. It's scrumptious. The condo is large, had a working fire place, heated pool, play ground, tennis, gym, tanning facilities! What isn't to love? Well for starters the price. You get what you pay for, and we pay a premium for it which was fine when we were a couple, but we're a family now and the priorities have changed.

The pool is nice, but not a necessity. We don't play tennis. The gym, I'd stroke out if I stepped foot on the treadmill-after all the blood has been pushed to my brain since the circulation in my legs has been cut off from putting on yoga pants that are to tight. Ahem. Tanning-lets just say fat melts and begins to sizzle when heated so that wouldn't be a good way to end for me. No thank you...but still I'm not keen on moving, but it's something we have to do...

My Mom can't watch Rocky 5 days a week. The two she does give us exhausts her. Rocky's Godmother is this close to having a completely empty nest and is at the point in her life where she can travel on a whim which leaves us sitterless for 10 days in March. Oh and did I mention she is only 3 1/2 years older than me and her baby is 16, and her oldest 20? Different seasons for sure...but that doesn't mean I won't miss walking 500 feet for a visit rather than having to drive 30 miles for one. Sigh.

So, it looks like we'll be moving in a few weeks....6 to be exact. 2 less than we had to prepare for Rocky's arrival...and well that has turned out alright. On the upside, we will save a ton of money by moving...AND I get to stay home with my baby boy...AND maybe, I will even make some mommy friends along the way...
